The Bethany Community Center does not require contracts. Monthly members may cancel their membership by properly submitting a cancellation request no later than the 20th of the month via our web form, which can be found HERE. Otherwise, in accordance with the membership draft agreement, the Bethany Community Center remains authorized to charge the account provided by the member for automatic payment of their nonrefundable monthly membership dues. Membership will be canceled the next billed month.

If a member is charged their membership dues after they have submitted their request before the 20th of the month, their payment will be refunded when the request is processed.

Prepaid (Annual) memberships (i.e., memberships that are paid for in full in advance for a full 12 months) are nonrefundable.

Personal Training

A client may cancel directly with the trainer without penalty by giving 24-hour notice. If notice is not given within a 24-hour period, the client will be charged for the session.

Only Bethany Community Center training staff or approved partners are permitted to conduct personal training sessions within the facility.

Membership and program Refund/ Credit Policy

Membership refunds are only permitted when there are extenuating circumstances that limit you from notifying the Bethany Community Center of your cancellation. These would need to be accompanied by proper documentation (i.e. doctor’s note).

If you were incorrectly charged due to the Bethany Community Center’s failure to cancel or put the membership on hold, a full refund/credit will be given as long as the refund/credit is accompanied by proper documentation (i.e. hold form, cancel form, email, etc).

Membership Freeze Policy -Freezes are no longer active

Members can place their Bethany Community Center membership on freeze for up to three months at a time, during which their regular monthly membership dues are paused. If the requested date surpasses 3 months, it will be considered a cancelation request.

Written notice is required to start a membership freeze. Members must submit their freeze request in writing via web form no later than the 20th of the month. Their freeze request will be completed within 7-10 business days.

If a member is charged their membership dues after they have submitted their request before the 20th of the month, their payment will be refunded when the request is processed.

Membership freeze starts and ends on a member’s draft date. When a membership freeze ends, the member resumes paying membership dues. They will not be asked to pay a joining fee.

Members may request to end their freeze early at any time. Members are required to submit their request to end their frozen membership early in writing via web form.

Frozen memberships will automatically resume on the resumption date listed on the freeze request, absent a properly and timely submitted cancellation request.
